THE INVENTORS CONNECTION OF GREATER CLEVELAND, INC., is a non-profit organization of persons directly interested in invention and innovation; it includes industrial and commercial organizations that have a sustaining interest in inventors and innovators and the challenges they face.

GOALS OF THE ORGANIZATION ARE:

Encourage innovative and inventive efforts of all kinds.

Provide the inventor and innovator with education, fellowship, and motivation.

Identify needs for which inventions will have a possible market.

Provide information to its members with regard to protection and marketing of ideas at the lowest possible cost consistent with quality results.

Inform members of the latest developments pertaining to patents, copyrights, and trademarks.

Help inventors to translate their ideas into inventions and marketable products, thereby to help them take their ideas . . .

MEETING THE CHALLENGE:

A monthly newsletter is sent to each member and to interested organizations and groups.

Meetings are held on a monthly basis. Speakers address the group on topics that relate to innovation and invention. Marketing, financing, liability and other areas of interest are discussed, with emphasis on introducing ideas into the marketplace.

Roundtable discussions are held by members and selected speakers.

A database is maintained to help members network with other members who can share expertise that they, themselves, are lacking.

The members include knowledgeable and experienced persons spanning a wide variety of trades as well as professional and business areas. Individuals who have new ideas have questions for which answers may be difficult to find.
