Royal Appliances Has Launched
”Launch Pad Partners”—Feb. 4

Royal Appliance Seeks Inventors

Royal Appliance Manufacturing Co. is seeking to introduce more and diverse consumer products to the marketplace. Their most recent new product, the TeleZapper® (a product that deals handily with telemarketing phonecalls) has given the company a clear sales boost, according to a spokesman. The TeleZapper®, incidentally, was patented by a Cleveland area inventor.

A new subsidiary, LaunchPad Partners, Inc., has just been formed to seek out the next product or products to be given the “Royal treatment.” In the somewhat blemished world of invention marketing, the respected name of Royal Appliances is stepping in to offer a service with a high degree of credibility. This effort is brand new, so come and hear about what’s happening on the ground floor.

At our February 4th meeting, Mr. Jim Holcomb, Vice President of Marketing for the company will come to tell us about this new venture, LaunchPad Partners.

This seems to be exactly the type of offering that many of you are seeking. We have confidence in the integrity of the Royal Appliance name. They are an old-line company and it seems they have new-line ideas. Come, and bring a friend.

SCORE to speak at our January 7th Meeting

Do you know the SCORE? -- the Service Corps of Retired Executives, that is. As a key resource partner with the SBA, SCORE offers a wide variety of free and low-cost services to aide the small business owner to be successful. They provide individual counseling for business owners and entrepreneurs, as well as low-cost seminars. They are a community resource eager and willing to offer assistance. Frederick Crider will tell us about SCORE at our January 7^th meeting.

Most SCORE volunteers are retired business owners or managers, though some members are still active. Volunteers provide management counseling and training to first-time entrepreneurs and current small business owners. Every effort is made to match a client's needs with a counselor who is experienced in a comparable line of business. All individual and team SCORE counseling is free.

Come, and bring a friend.
