The Patent Cafe [REVIEW] Andy Gibbs has created this useful site.	The Patent Café contains numerous resources of value to experienced and novice inventors. These include invention chat rooms, discussion groups, and advice columns. A list of frequently asked questions (FAQ’s) with answers is also provided.
The Lemelson-MIT Prize Program's HANDBOOK FOR INVENTORS	Here's a review of this site [REVIEW] A good FREE resource.
Invent-Net [REVIEW]	A good resource with many hot-links to other resources. Try their list server for daily messages relating to innovation from all over.
InventNet International Corporation THIS LINK HAS BEEN CORRUPTED WITH PORNOGRAPHY AND DELETED	A newly-formed corporation to take an invention to market with no up-front fees to the inventor. No track record yet, but the people involved have excellent reputations among independent inventors.
National Cogress of Inventor Organizations NCIO	Co-founded by Norman Parrish in 1982, this group claims to be the oldest nonprofit umbrella organization of inventor groups in the U.S. Its president is now Stephen Paul Gnass, who also operates the INVENTION CONVENTION.
Ed Zimmer's The Entrepreneur Network	Ed Zimmer has been helping independent inventors and entrepreneurs for years. He has discontinued his monthly newsletter to devote more time to the internet resources.
National Inventor Fraud Center	Patent Attorney Michael Neustel, of Fargo, North Dakota operates this valuable resource for inventors
World Innovation Network WIN Innovation Center INNOVATION INSTITUTE 852 HIGHWAY MM EVERTON, MO 65646	WIN was originally created by Wal-Mart, but operates quite independently from the commercial chain. Product evaluations are conducted by SMSU (Southwest Missouri State University) and the Innovation Institute under the direction of Dr. Gerald Udell, a renowned expert in the evaluation of inventions.

The U.S. Patent Office Washington, DC	The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office maintains this web site that contains much of what they publish in print in terms of general information about patents and trademarks.
CNIDR Patent Database	This is the database supported by the U.S.P.T.O. Keyword searching of the front-page data of the most current patents back to 1976. It takes some care to be sure of the years you are searching. Free.
IBM Patent Database	This database allows keyword searching of the front-page data of patents back to 1971. They plan full-text searching. Patent images are available. Free.
STO Online Patent Searching	One of the first, if not the first to put patent searching on the internet. An excellent resource. Free.
Canadian Patents On-Line University of British Columbia	For those who are interested in Canadian patents.

SITES ABOUT WHICH WE HAVE RESERVATIONS:
Society of American Inventors Akron, Ohio	This is an organization apparently founded in 1996 as a not-for-profit division of the law offices of John D. Gugliotta. We have received numerous questions about them from other inventor groups because of our proximity to Akron. This is an "inventors group" whose spokesman says they hold no meetings and plan to host no seminars. It appears that members interact only with the professionals who run the group, and not with one another. Members are under no obligation to use the services of the law offices of which the Society is a part.
National Patent Association	We just don't know very much about this site.
