This web-site is a photo pictorial of the current state of Youngstown, Ohio's favorite playground, Idora Park.
The 68 acre site was the home of the famous roller coasters Wild Cat and Jack Rabbit, as well as all of the other attractions. Closed in 1984, the park remains deserted and in poor repair. The only remaining artifacts are the badly burned Wild Cat, the Carousel Housing, the crumbling midway, the Jack Rabbit (also known in its last days as the Back Wabbit), and the decaying Ball Room.
Inside are photographs taken in 1995. Since then, more of the remaining buildings and shells have collapsed.
