The kittens' eyes are still blue in some of the pictures. This is the color of all the eyes as young kittens.
Their eyes will change to yellow-green  by three months.

All our Maine Coon kittens receive the TICA litter registration blue form.
This allows the owner to register (for a $10 fee) the kitten with TICA  with its new name.

This kitten is being evaluated as a possible breeder here at UpperValley. It is too early to know if he will be kept at stud.

This little kitten is cute and very active but is considerably under weight and a bit smaller than the others. She may go to a special care home. We will see.


This kitten will be available for reservation and it is important that you know that she may be a special needs kitten. Deposit forfiture is not applicable if the kitten is withdrawn. She appears to be healthy and is quite active.  Please contact me by telephone.

Here's a note from the people now owned by Storm . . .
We had a wonderful day yesterday with our no-name yet kitten.  He really came out of his protective shell.  He explored the house thoroughly, hissed and spit at the puppy (who is now bigger than a golden retriever), but did not run from him...good thing.  The dog seems just as afraid of him.  Today they have gotten even closer together without too much fuss, unless the dog gets real close.  Kitten does not wander around nervous about where the dog is.  He plays and rests, and just deals with the dog when need be.  I'm thrilled with this progress.  Today kitten is purring, kneading, and chirping to us.  He is very social.  He is also a mooch, wanting our lasagna** last night and our french toast this morning. Won't let you eat in peace.  At this point we all are just laughing at his antics, because we're thrilled that he is so social.  Will worry about kitchen manners after he settles in more!     ** another Garfield??

All our kittens are raised under foot. We have three other queens at present but no dogs.  
They have the run of a portion of the house . Our kittens are litter trained before they leave the nest.
We offer personal viewing by appointment.

The Pricing of Maine Coon Kittens

Our prices are by individual arrangement between the buyer and us. The cost includes the first and second immunizations and a portion of  the  prenatal checkups and other health services for the mother cat and other normal expenses including stud services and may include spaying or neutering of the kitten. Kittens are litter registered with TICA. A $100 US non refundabledeposit is required to reserve your kitten.  All our pedigreed kittens will be sold with a contract and as pets without breeding rights except by special arrangement.

We will ship but prefer not to unless it will be a short, direct flight. Shipping costs are FOB Athens, Vermont, via the Manchester, NH, airport. Transportation to the airport will be included in the purchase price if we can schedule the trip to match other travel. The kennel for shipping must be purchased unless you pick up the kitten and have your own carrier. A vet checkup and health certificate are required by the airlines and this cost is paid by the purchaser. It will cost about $15 for domestic air travel plus the cost of the office visit. If you have a preference of nearby vets we will have the checkup done by the vet of your choice otherwise we normally use the Rockingham Vet Clinic in Bartonsville, VT.
