This Essay, "PROBLEMS OF RELIGION" was written in 1980, and self- published in book form in 1983 by Don Steele, together with his original mathematical paper, "THE GENERAL THEORY OF RELATIVITY : A GUIDE TO THE CALCULUS STUDENT " (Not included here. Click to see Ad). The Introduction begins with the words, "According to Chinese astrology, the world revolves around a 12 year cycle."

After the publication of "PROBLEMS OF RELIGION," Don Steele decided that he'd wait one cycle or 12 years to again publish on his life's pursuit of God's existence and meaning for humanity. And his purpose was to show in such a later publication serious advancement in depth and comprehension over this present Essay.

"SECRETS OF THE DIVINE MIND," appearing in 1995, exactly 12 years later, represents that advancement of thought. "PROBLEMS OF RELIGION" is an important Essay in that Don Steele refutes Marxist materialism, and scientific objections to God's existence, and in a style that's more eloquent. "SECRETS OF THE DIVINE MIND" is written in a different type of style, more compact and pregnant with meaning.

In the year 2007, Don Steele hopes to show his advancement over "SECRETS OF THE DIVINE MIND." Already Don Steele believes he's destroyed sufficiently materialist philosophy and no longer has to establish or prove the existence of God, or to answer to various materialist and skeptic arguments against God's existence. As well, Don Steele's philosophical arguments which included interpreting blacks' history and struggles have been dealt with adequately and repetitively enough to remove them from any more of his focussed interest.
