LITTLE FISHHEADS

(and medium sized)

Do these kids look happy or what?

Left

A pair of great channel cats caught by Christine and Kedzie Sheets with some help from dad. They were caught at Squaw Creek Res. on Aug 17th 2001, using shad gizzards for bait. Both fish are estimated at about 10 pounds each.

Right

Katie Morris from Fort Worth with a nice striper taken from Lake Texoma. Katie, along with her brother Jake and father Gary also boated a 35 pound catfish. June '01.

Left

Cassey from Texas with a super striper from Lake Texoma that she
must have given a bath
and a good drying with her towel.

Right

Billy Hathaway and a great string of Channel cats from Corona Lake. Billy uses the JIMDEE Chum Bait made
by his dad, Jim. The recipe can be found on the Chum Page.

The same James Aaron Hughes with A frog that would be a fine pair of frog legs except it was a friend.

Aaron and frog.

Chambers brothers and myself with a big blue.

B.J. Petty with a nice trout.

The Chambers brothers and a large blue catfish. They were the bait catchers for this fish.

B.J. Petty with a fine rainbow trout caught on the White River in the
spring of 1999.B.J. caught and
released about a bazillion trout on
this trip. He is now the trout master
of all time.

Ronnie Ponder and flathead.
Do you think Ronnie Ponder could teach the rest of us how he does that? He is getting pretty good at East Texas flathead fishing. Catch more of Ronnie on his dads site at Catfish Heaven.

"Hey, my picture was once on this page! What happened to it?"

Maybe we moved it to the Archives. It was getting crowded.
Besides, your not a kid anymore.

Every time you turn the T.V. to a fishing show someone says "Take a kid fishing." That is as good an idea as I can think of. Too many kids never get to go fishing and never even know what they are missing. Get a box of worms and a perch hook and take them down to that deep hole in the creek down the road and let them catch bluegills for a little while and you have made a fisherman for life.

If you would like to see your fishface... I mean your fish and face here, send an image to Jackfish7@aol.com and we will make you famous. Please let us know what kind of fish it is (some of us don't know a trout from a tuna) and what kind of bait you used. If you look like my brother, make sure to tell us which one is the fish and which one is you. We will post any information that you like about the fish, fisherman or fishing trip (location, date, etc.). Please DO NOT include any information that you do not want posted.
