If you have never been fishing in the gulf, you need to go. These pictures were
all of trips we went on with Dolphin Docks out of Port Aransas . Some were 40 hr.
trips and a few were 12 hr. As I get older the 12 hr. trips
seem to agree with me more.

They have always put out a good trip. The 40 hr trips would be my first choice
because you can keep 2 days limit. With the reductions on bag limits the past
few years, 1 days limit doesn't add up to much.
Not driving as far as I have to, anyway.
Still if they put you on enough different fish, you can make the trip worthwhile.
If you've never been on one of these, start with a short trip (6-12hr) and get
some Scop patches from your doctor. I have been in some pretty heavy-duty
water with a patch on and did not get sick.
I was sick, once, without a patch and that will not happen again .
I promise, it is like a bad hangover and the flu, all at once.
