On Thursday morning of last week Charles Ganoe son
of J. W. Ganoe, the postmaster and well known business man at
Phillipston, this county, was the victim of a horrible accident, which it is
feared will result in his death. The unfortunate man, who is, about

Ry., running on a freight between Pittsburgh and Oil City. On last
Thursday morning his train stopped at East Brady, to take on some cars. Ganoe
was to make the coupling and was in the middle of the track running backwards
with his hand on the coupling of the moving car when his feet caught in a hoop
