Introduction

Hello! My name is Joanne Stone. Welcome to the Jayess web page. I am pleased to see your interest in the Manx breed and hope that you will enjoy your visit here. I suppose I should start by telling you a little bit about the cattery itself.

Although I had purebred Manx for about a year before, Jayess Manx was "officially" started in January of 1980 with the registration of the cattery exclusively with CFA (Cat Fanciers Association). I was very fortunate to have some of the most knowledgeable Manx breeders as my mentors - those including Cynthia Engstrom (Sinleo Manx), Marion and Dayle Hall (Tra-Mar Manx), Shelley Page (Shelleo Manx), and Mary Stewart (Lupracan Mus Manx). Over the years I have tried to maintain the high standards that these catteries represent, health and purity of breed being of foremost concern.
