Dictator is back at home for the covering season, and he’s been busy, the mares decided they would all come into season together. He has unfortunately only had one foal this year but this was superb filly out of a Thoroughbred mare.
Dictator will be staying at home now, and possibly doing some competing from here, I miss him lots when he is not here so I am enjoying having him home. Chris has done a wonderful job with him though and he is working brillantly.
Harrington Mr Magician unfortunately passed away on the 11th May aged 26 he is now buried in his favourite field, It always comes as such a shock when you loose an animal even when you think you can be sort of prepared, with them being old, but you never are. There is a huge hole in my yard at the moment, I will miss him greatly he had become a very dear friend. It was a privilege to have had him here for his retirement.
Not much has happened over the past few months what with the Foot and Mouth so not much else to report at the moment. Hopefully things will pick up now.
