Thanksgiving Dinner Project
Burlington
Rotarians arranged for a generous donation of 110 frozen turkeys
by Shaw's Supermarkets to the Burlington's People Helping People's
Thanksgiving Dinner project as one of its many ongoing annual service
projects. Shown above are the Rotarians who picked up the turkeys
from Shaw's and some of the supermarket staff who helped load them for
transport to Burlington's United Church of Christ's social hall
where needy families would pick up their Thanksgiving meal foods
later in the day.
Among
the many Burlington Rotarians who spent a Sunday afternoon giving out
the turkeys and helping families carry their other thanksgiving meal
foods to their cars are, (l-r) front-Patty Fitzgerald, Karen
