Photos from the
Road To Richmond
Tour - 2002
(or, what I did on my summer vacation)
First two are a couple from a flag return ceremony
in Syracuse NY in June:

The Erie Canal Museum in downtown Syracuse was a very
nice venue. This is a nice shot of my Wunder Banjo, and my new
civilian sack coat (Blockade Runner, Bell Buckle Tenn.
The next big stop was Windham NY for the Heritage Civil
War Music Gathering, Aug 2, 3, &4
The location, The Centre Church
in Windham NY, built in 1832, and home of the Windham String Quartette.
Inside view; the place was packed
solid for the big Saturday night show.
The house band, the 77th NY Regimental
Balladeers, preparing for the big show.
On the other side of the room,
the Peanut Gallery during one of the all-play songs.
Doing a solo bit. I have gut strings.
My suit has hand sewn button holes. And I forgot to take my glasses
off before going on. This is why I don't preach!
Hamming it up for the TV cameras
during De Boatmen's Dance. Nice suit!
The Sons (and Daughters) of the
Gallant 28th (Mass.)
That's all for now. Special thanks to John Quinn, who
was responsible for my presence at both these events.
