The primary focus of our home page is genealogical data for Jett Hanna and Ann Denkler.  I am the genealogy nut;  Ann is very tolerant of my hobby, but not as interested.  The "family tree" part of the site was built by converting GEDCOM files to html by using Sparrowhawk.  I use Reunion on a Mac for entering genealogical data.  At this time, the only genealogical database I have on line is for my ancestors.  I have a limitation on website space I am working to get around.  I have a total of about 2500 names in my full database, many more than the posted ones here.  A significant number of these are my wife's relatives.

You can search for either Persons or Surnames among Jett's ancestors. 

I am posting an outline of my research notes, books/articles in progress, and transcripts of interesting documents I have found.  I've decided that this is the easiest way to get feedback from other researchers.  With modern copyright laws, I should be protected against blatant commercial plagerism even when I post unfinished works. The worst thing that could happen is I will be embarrassed-these unfinished works may have errors or inaccuracies I have not yet gotten around to fixing.  PLEASE let me know if you find any. 

RTF files should be translated by most modern word processors. I am still in the process of putting up more files, so more links will be available shortly. These files are zipped. 

• Genealogy notes.  These reflect two years of research, and are in outline form.  I have tried to include all materials of which I have copies, though I am still in the process of cataloging everything.  I will post these shortly.  
• The House of Hanna Revisited:  The Family of Robin Hanna in Virginia, South Carolina, and Indiana. This is an unfinished work.  Comments on the work would be appreciated.
• Untangling the Laurens County Adairs.  This is an unfinished work.  It details my attempts to sort out the Laurens District, SC Adairs.  Comments on the work would be appreciated.
• Nana's Family:  Some Facts and Stories.  This 1981work is being revised to reflect recent research. Comments on the work will be appreciated.
• My Mother and Her Ancestors.  
• Text of James and Mary Parks wills in Virginia.
• Text of Robert Hanna will, Joseph Hanna will, court case involving Charlotta(Charlotte) Williams Hartmen White Hanna., and Abraham Russell will.
• Description of Civil War remembrances of Henry McGlasson.  Publication of this work is pending with the United Daughters of the Confederacy Magazine.
• Affidavits of Matthew McGlasson regarding Revolutionary War experience.

Jett, in his other life, works at Texas Lawyers' Insurance Exchange.  He designed the TLIE website.
