Shopping using the HEBERT BOX

Use this easy to build model, The Hebert Box, when shopping, and you'll be sure not to come home and say, 'Why did I buy this? It doesn't go with anything I own.' It's simple to use, just:

Make a grid
Across the top, list your suits, their style and colors
Down the left, list your basics and/or accessories, like shirts, blouses, shoes, and ties.
Wherever a match occurs, place an 'x' on the grid.
I use it just to match items. If you want to get creative, you can place accessory combinations in the matched grid boxes, or use it list out each ensemble, including shoes and accessories.
And keep this grid with you when you shop, and you'll be sure to only buy items that you need in your current wardrobe.
