As the all wool blankets and the brushed lambswool tartan blankets are not available in every tartan, many customers find an excellent second choice is the 100% worsted all wool fringed throw in two sizes as below (and scarves) which can be made in hundreds of different tartans, both in modern colors and old/ancient colors, which are available in both lightweight and medium weight fabric. Click on the link "Tartans" below to view the vast selection available from which 100% worsted wool "fringed throws" can be made. Although not heavy wool blankets, these are very attractive and we sell many to customers who otherwise would not be able to find a ready made tartan blanket as not all are commercially woven. The only other way to purchase a regular wool blanket would be to find a weaver and have one custom woven.
