History of Violence Dir: David
Cronenberg, Starring; Viggo Mortenson, Maria Bello, Ed Harris
I've been a Cronenberg fan since I saw Shivers decades ago. He has matured since those days and this film is another example of the more character driven work he's doing now. Viggo plays a small town owner of a diner who gets some nasty clients one day. He makes short work of them, then some enjoyable mayhem ensues. Needless to say his wife, played by Maria Bello, is rather concerned by her Hubbie's behaviour. I recommend this one, it's not too gory either
