Jeanette's home in LA in where she lived with her mother before she was married in 1937 was at 401 S. June St. A beautiful Tudor home on the corner of June St. and 4th St., it was where Jeanette's wedding reception was held in June 1937.
Very near that house is the Wilshire United Methodist Church, on the corner of Wilshire and Plymouth, where Gene and Jeanette were married on June 16, 1937.
Down Wilshire Blvd. several miles is the apartment building where Jeanette & Gene lived from 1963 until 1965 when Jeanette died (Gene lived there until his second marriage in 1974). It is located at the corner of Wilshire and Comstock. Jeanette & Gene lived on the 8th floor.
Jeanette's beloved Twin Gables, where Jeanette & Gene lived from 1937 until 1963, is located at 783 Bel Air Rd. in Bel Air.
You can see Jeanette's footprints and handprints at Mann's (Grauman's) Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. between La Brea and Highland Ave. Jeanette wore a size 3 1/2 shoes!
Jeanette is honored with two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame--at 6157 Hollywood Blvd. and 1628 Vine St. Gene Raymond has a star at 7001 Hollywood Blvd.
Jeanette's final resting place is in the beautiful Freedom Mausoleum in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale. Follow the main road all the way up to the top of the hill. Jeanette is on the main floor--her signature in gold marks her crypt. Forest Lawn employees are not allowed to tell guests where people are buried, so you'll need to find this on your own. The Church of the Recessional in Forest Lawn is where her funeral service was held.
