11/21/98 - Oni News! Confirmed by Alex over at Bungie West: "we're driving to get
something really cool looking for macworld in san francisco."
Well there ya go! I've also changed the Oni link above and amended
some of the text, since it seems quite a bit of Oni stuff is being
documented on this page. Another great source is the ever-present
Marathon's Story Page. Hamish Sinclair is a God to us old Marathon fans. Or at least
a lower-form deity. :) I've contributed my Oni findings there
as well.
11/20/98 - I finally stumbled unto The National Macintosh Gaming Championship webpage. Go there and sign up to play in an official Macworld
Expo tournament. Lots of games are covered and it's free to enter;
you only have to be a conference attendee. I made it to the Myth
Finals last time at the New York Macworld Expo. Check out some
of the pictures they took here. I'm in the picture where Doug is standing over us as we play
the finals. You can't see my face, it's covered by another player's
head. :(
In other news, I had hinted below that there seemed to be some
movement in Bungie re: Oni. Well, guess what? Click here.
11/18/98 - List being updated constantly, as I receive emails... Please
don't take your position on the list to mean anything. It's all
arbitrary, except when you supply dates, then I will move you
up with the rest of those that have also supplied dates.
11/16/98 - Well Bungie's Calendar of Events states: "MacWorld Expo January 4-8, 1999 in San Francisco, CA
hmmm... a show in San Francisco. That's really close to BungieWest...
" and Alex Okita's page, updated 11/12/98 says "We're working towards a deadline so i've
been rather busy working on stuff i dont get to show anyone outside
the company." What do you think this all adds up to? Oni fans
rejoice!
