Aim of Ulstersongs

Ulstersongs principal aim is to make available songs, mainly from the province of Ulster - this should not come as a surprise. It also seeks to make available reliable information concerning the songs and other aspects of the Ulster and Irish singing and musical traditions.

John Moulden

Ulstersongs is run solely by John Moulden.
He is a singer, percussionist, researcher, writer, editor, lecturer, publisher and song hunter.

Ulstersongs Objectives

1. To produce and market song books and tapes.
2. To seek out and market books and tapes which support Ulstersongs' aims.
3. To give talks and presentations on aspects of the Ulster song and music tradition.
4. To make available information and songs to inquirers.
5. To perform and encourage the performance of songs especially traditional ones.
