I am Interested in Michigan Lighthouse's. My Grandfather was a Lightkeeper at Various Locations around The Great Lakes. His longest tenure was at Middle Island northeast of Alpena Michigan in Lake Huron. It is here that my mother was born in august of 1933.....

I am also looking for information on the Ranville family history prior to Joseph Ranville on Mackinac Island in the 1820's
