HOW YOUR COMPANY CAN BENEFIT
Job Options, Inc. can help Government Prime Contractors meet their small
business sub-contracting requirements! Job Options, Inc. can provide
quality services at a fair and reasonable price to any company desiring to
outsource tasks. Job Options, Inc. can, in many cases, provide currently
outsourced services at a more inexpensive price.
How can Job Options provide these services to you?
Job Options, Inc. operates within the parameters of government legislation
known as the Javits-Wagner-O'Day
(JWOD) Act. This legislation provides that not-for-profit companies
may do business with the government on a "set-aside" basis (non-competitive
bid) if they can perform the task and they will provide at least 75% of their
direct labor hours to people with severe disabilities. The oversight
committee for this legislation is The Committee
for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severly Disabled which
was established in 1947 by President Harry Truman. The Committee's
mission is to communicate, coordinate and promote public and private efforts
to enhance the employment of people with disabilities. Job Options,
Inc. is affiliated with a national organization known as the
National Industries for the Severely Handicapped
(NISH) who act as the liaison point between Job Options and the
government contracting entities.
Operating within these government guidelines, Job Options is able to provide
jobs to over 350 people with disabilities and take on the myriad of subcontracts
available in the government contracting realm.
Due to our expertise in many areas,
as well as the large national organizations available to us as resources,
and our superb workforce of employees, we can do the job for YOU better,
at a regulated and fair price.
