From Medieval chant to the slightly scandalous ditties of the English court to the haunting strains of Sephardic Music, the Early Music Players' concerts are authentic, moving, and always thoroughly entertaining.
Elegant period garb, an astonishing array of early instruments and songs in their original languages as well as modern translations provide a thrill for the ears and a feast for the eyes.
The ensemble has been performing Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque
music since 1972, delighting listeners and garnering critical acclaim throughout
the New York metropolitan area, from The 92nd Street Y, St. Bartholomew's
Great Music Series, and Music at St. Peter's in Morristown to housewarmings
and weddings. The Early Music Players have also been featured on WNET/Channel
13 and on New Jersey Network's "State of the Arts."
