Uniform Recycling
Do you have any Cub Scout Uniforms that you no longer need? Please consider donating
them to Pack 700.
Here are a few of the benefits of Uniform Recycling:
- Helps defray the cost of scouting for future scouts
- Counts as a "Good Turn"
- It's non-fattening :-)
- cleans out the closet to make room for a Boy Scout Uniform
OK, so it's a good idea. What uniform parts can be recycled?
- Shirts (please remove all rank, award, den, patrol, and quality unit insignia)
- Tiger (without iron-on patches)
- Blue
- Kahki
- Pants / Shorts
- Belts
- Socks
- Neckerchief Slides (official BSA metal slides)
- Pack Number insignia
- Blue Ridge Council insignia
- . . . can you think of something else that should be reused?
It's probably not a good idea to try to recycle scout hats.
Great! Now how do I do it?
Bring them to a pack meeting, den or patrol meeting, or contact the
Pack 700 Cubmaster to make
other arrangements.
