Enjoying "Mr.Leyland's Polka Contre"

The Tapestry Dancers and guests enjoyed an evening of Nineteenth century ballroom and country dancing and a cold collation of dessert refreshments at the Parkhouse Center in Royersford, PA. The Parkhouse residents, our special guests for the festivities, watched as the dancers waltzed, reeled and polkaed during an entertaining evening of long sets, couple dances and some amusing German cotillions!

During the afternoon, a number of attendees availed themselves of the Dance Workshop to brush up on waltz technique and step variations, and run through a few group dances to be presented that evening. Three sets of enthusiastic Waltz Cotillion participants at the Social proved that the workshop was well done!
