York Weapons Inspectors

Welcome to the site for York Weapons Inspectors, a non-violent direct action group dedicated to inspecting sites in and around the York area for potential weapons of mass destruction.

A national anti-war demonstration has been called for this Saturday, the same day as Foil the Base, in London.

Foil the Base WILL still be going ahead.

We are still sending a coach to Menwith Hill and would appreciate any and all protestors willing to attend.

Tickets are still on sale from the outlets mentioned on Coming Events.

If, however, you would prefer to attend the national demonstration in London, you may purchase a ticket from York Against the War for £7 (unwaged) or £15 (waged). You may also "upgrade" your Menwith Hill ticket to attend the London demonstration by paying £2 (unwaged) or £10 (waged). If you wish to do this, please contact York Against the War by Wednesday at the LATEST.
