Angel Bunny

Hi, I'm Angel. I'm an English Angora House Bunny. I was given to my Mom by my Dad for Christmas (1995), so I'm my Mom's Christmas Angel. Plus, Mom likes my soft angora - says it feels like "angel hair". I live in a city about 30 miles west of Chicago. I like it here, except for the neighborhood dogs barking and the racoons at night. They scare me when I sense them. I always stay in the house unless my Mom goes with to protect me from dangers. If I go out, it just on the deck to get fresh air or to the vet to have my nails clipped or something.

I have many friends at a placed called PetBunny. It is mailing list of about 600 people who all have bunnies, so I have cyber-pals. Some of their names are Smokey, General Rabbit E. Lee, Snoozy, Smokey, Meg and MO (they are really beautiful, too), Kari, Honey Bunny, Simon (he has his own pottery collection) Carla's Page - Simon Collection Cinnamon and Pebble and Samson and Xena. We tell each other about our adventures and the mischief we get into. Sometimes we hear very sad things about how our friends were mistreated or abandoned, get sick and go to Rainbow Bridge and that makes us cry. But, most of the time we just talk about how happy we are and how much fun it is to be so loved by our people. PetBunny Friends pictures

One important thing we try to tell everyone is that if you want a bunny companion/friend to go to the House Rabbit Society and adopt one rather than buy one at a breeder or pet shop. I have many, many friends that are homeless and need to have a home with people who will love them. If you want to learn how to take care of a bunny, you can click there, too. Below are some pictures of our dogs (yuck! they bark too much for my taste). The Collie's name is Cody. That's him with his beloved hedgehog. He loves that thing. He hides it under the kitchen table on the chairs. He is 8 years old. In fact he was born on Christmas Eve,1990. Collie Rescue Group

The Great Dane in the picture is Gretchen. She is 8 years old also. She was born on 1/6/91. That's her in my Dad's golf hat, isn't she cute?

Cody and Gretchen have been companions all these years. They are inseparatable.

Our two foster bunnies, Addie (left) and Petunia (aka Indiga) (right). We adopted them on 5/30/99 and now they are permanent parts of our family! .

Well, we got our wish on just one more bunny! On 5/30/99 we adopted an all white, angora-boy when Mom was contacted by Linda from Michigan Rabbit Rescue about him needing a home. His name is "Dove". Dove's Pictures !

Here's a picture of our kitties. This was taken in their younger years. They are 15, 14, 12 and 11 years old. now. On top from left to right is Puddin' and Priscilla, on the bottom is Brandy and Mush.
