Tour of the Covered Bridges of Erie County, Pennsylvania, from Ashtabula County, Ohio

This tour starts at the Covered Bridge Pizza Parlor#1 at North Kingsville, Ohio, and ends at the Covered Bridge Pizza Parlor#2 at Andover, Ohio.  It visits the three remaining covered bridges of Erie County, Pennsylvania, in between.

Start at Covered Bridge Pizza#1 on the west side OH193 in North Kingsville OH. Go south on OH193 toward OH84.  

Option 1.  If you have not taken the Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Tour around Conneaut, you can see four covered bridges on your way to Pennsylvania.  As you approach the junction of OH84 coming in from the west, turn left on Creek Road to CB#35-04-05.

Just beyond the bridge turn right on Keefus Road over I-90 to a cross road; turn left on South Ridge Road about 2 miles past OH7 and turn right to Middle Road CB#35-04-06.

Continue south to cross road and turn  right on Hatches Corners Road past OH7; at "T" turn right to State Road CB#35-04-58.

Turn around and go SOUTH on State Road (which becomes Stanhope-Kelloggsville Road at Kelloggsville) about 4 miles and turn left to Root Road CB#35-04-09.

Continue on Root Road to OH7.  Turn left on OH7 to OH84.  Turn right on OH84 into Pennsylvania.

Option 2.  If you do not want to visit the Ashtabula County covered bridges around Conneaut with this tour, then continue south on OH193 from the pizza shop to I-90. At the I-90 entrance ramp take OH84 and continue east into Pennsylvania.

Continue on PA226 to US6N. Go straight ahead on US6N and take the first right.  Go right on Barney Road to Keepville CB#38-25-02.

Continue thru CB and turn left at 1st crossroad on Wickwire Road. At a "T" turn left on Knapp Road=SR3011 to the first crossroad. Turn right on Carter Road=SR3004 to PA18. Turn left on PA18 through Albion toward Platea.. At the south edge of Platea where PA18 curves left at a "Y" take the right fork on Franklin Center Road. Continue past the State Road crossroad and take the next left on Gudgeonville Road=T400 to Gudgeonville CB#38-25-03.

Continue north on Gudgeonville Road to a 'T" and turn right on Beckman Road to another "T" at Keefer Road. Turn right on Keefer Road a short distance and left on Luther Road to PA98. Turn right on PA98. Turn left on US6N through Edinboro and left on US19 to Waterford. Turn right on 1st Street for about 3 blocks and turn right on East Street to go out of town to Waterford CB#38-25-04.

Return to Waterford. Go south on US19 to Meadville. Continue on US6 to Conneaut Lake. Where US6 curves to the right turn left on PA285 west to cross Pymatuning Lake to Andover OH. Look for Covered Bridge Pizza#2 on the left, across from Dollar General.

This ends the Erie County bridge tour from pizza shop to pizza shop.
