Start at Proctorville OH near the Ohio River bridge to Huntington WV.  Go east on OH7.  Turn LEFT on OH775 nine miles to Scottown.  Turn right on OH217 about a half mile and then turn right on Pleasant Ridge Road to the refurbished Scottown CB#35-44-05.

IF THE DRIVER DOES NOT MIND HILLS AND CURVES, go west on OH217 and continue west on OH141 to US52 at Ironton. (Otherwise, return on OH775 to Proctorville, turn right on OH7 and continue on US52 northwest.)   Take US52 northwest to OH253 to connect with a bridge to KY10-AA at Greenup Dam. Exit at OH253 to cross the Ohio River and continue straight ahead on KY10-AA to KY7.  Turn RIGHT on KY7 a short distance to Bennett's Mill CB#17-45-01. If your vehicle is lighter than 3 tons, turn RIGHT through the unique Wheeler truss bridge and park on the east side.

Continue east to US23. Turn RIGHT on US23 toward Greenup. About a mile beyond KY2 turn RIGHT on KY1 for 14 miles to MKP Oldtown CB#17-45-02, which is bypassed and abandoned on the left, off Frazer Bridge Road.

Continue south on KY1 to I-64 at Grayson. Turn LEFT (EAST) on I-64 and follow it about 30 miles into West Virginia. Exit at Milton Exit 28, turn right and then turn right again on US60 to the "first" traffic light (or a sign pointing to glass tours). Turn LEFT at the light towards Blenko Glass Factory on Fairgrounds Road. Sink's Mill CB#48-06-01 has been moved to and restored on the Pumpkin Festival grounds to the left.  Continue on Fairgrounds Road, curving left at the glass factory.  To walk to the covered bridge, turn left on "One Pumpkin Way" and find a convenient place to park.  (To see the former site of this covered bridge or a glass showroom, take the "right" fork at the glass factory to its dead end, where the bridge used to be.)

Return to the traffic light in beautiful downtown Milton and turn LEFT on US60 toward Huntington. Continue past Ona and Barboursville and the Huntington Mall and the I-64 Interchange into the east edge of Huntington. At Huntington, turn right on Fifth AVENUE (NOT Fifth STREET!) and take the RIGHT fork to the bridge to OH7 across the Ohio River.  Turn LEFT (EAST) onto OH7 into Proctorville.  Alternatively, continue west on I-64 to West Huntington and take US52 north to Ohio.
