ALBERT J. KIGER, 64 , of 55 South Morgan Street, Waynesburg, died at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 1974 in Greene County Memorial Hospital after an illness of one week. He was born November 5, 1909 in Franklin Township the son of the late Jeremiah and Flora B. Dulaney Kiger. His entire life was spent in the Waynesburg area. He was affiliated with the Methodist Church. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Chapter 461, of Waynesburg. He was employed with the Equitable Gas Company for 25 years, retiring in 1966. He is survived by his wife, Otie Stewart Kiger; one daughter, Annabelle, wife of Peter Shuntich of Girard, Ohio;four sons, Roland Kiger of Martinsville, Va., Duane Kiger of Mineral Ridge, Ohio; Jerry Kiger of Lexington Park Md.; and James Kiger, stationed with the U. S. Navy in Iceland; 20 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Leona Shultz of Waynesburg; Mrs Joseph (Ruth) Rattigan of Waynesburg RD 4. Three infant sons, a sister Irene and a brother, Harry are deceased.

JOHN T. (JAY) KNIGHT John T. (Jay ) Knight, 77, Garrison, died after a brief illness at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 1975 in the West Virginia University Hospital, Morgantown. A son of the late William and Mary Martin Knight, he was born August 12, 1897 and was a retired oil field worker. He was a member of the New Freeport Church of Christ. Surviving are his widow, Ina Taylor Knight; a daughter, Mrs Vada Phillips of Lorain, Ohio; a son Wayne Knight of Hundred, W. Va.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother James Knight of Penfield, Pa. and three sisters; Mrs Ruth Taylor and Mrs. Ferne Wassum, both of Lorain, Ohio, and Mrs Mary Cooper, New Freeport. Friends received at the Hunt Funeral Home, Hundred, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, where services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment in Sand Hill Cemetery, Sand Hill, Pa.

Mrs. Luta L. Wright, a former resident of Cameron, died December 16, 1959, in
Inglewood, California. She was born September 19, 1891 in Greene County, Pa. She was a
daughter of Mrs. Mary A. Knight of New Freeport, Pa. and the late William A. Knight. She
is survived by her mother and three children; Mrs. Florence Hammers of Cameron, Mrs
Mildred Webster of El Segundo, Calif. and Gene Wright of Inglewood, Calif. She is also
survived by two brothers Jay Knight of Garrison, Pa. and James Knight of Reonva, Pa.;
three sisters, Mrs. Jack Cooper of New Freeport, Pa., Mrs John Taylor and Mrs. Cecil
Wasson, both of Lorain, O.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Hardin and Flanagan Colonial Chapel Monday December 21, at
1:00 p.m. Interment in Inglewood Park Cemetery.

LORAIN, OHIO - Mrs. Ruth I. (Knight) Taylor, 72, of 1730 Broadway Kennedy Plaza, died July
13 at 6:15 a.m. in Saint Joseph Hospital after suffering a massive heart attack. She was
born Feb. 5, 1903 in Greene County the daughter of the late William and Mary (Martin)
Knight. She had been a resident of Lorain, Ohio since 1942. She was an employee of U. S.
Steel, Lorain Works, retiring 11 years ago after 20 years of service working in the paint
shop. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Temple of Lorain and the Jubilee Sixties of
the temple. She was also a member of Local 1104 of the U. S. Steel Works. Her husband,
John M. Taylor, preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 1962. Surviving are a son Lyle of
Lorain, Ohio; Two daughters, Mrs. Curtis (Norma) Price of Waynesburg, and Mrs. Dallas
(June) Jones of Lorain, Ohio; A step-daughter, Mrs. William (Goldie) Kennedy of
Grandville, Michigan; 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; one brother , James Knight
of DuBois, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Cooper of New Freeport, and Mrs. Fern Wasson of
Lorain. In addition to her husband one son and one daughter preceded her in death.
Services were conducted on July 15 at 2 p.m. in the Victory Baptist Temple, the Rev. Carl
E. Stuart officiating. Burial was in the Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Lorain, Ohio.
