    CONTEMPORARY SAXOPHONE

I began playing sax during the "golden" era of rock and roll. I grew up with Little Richard, Fats Domino, James Brown,The Champs, Johnny and the Hurricanes, Supremes, Elvis, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Aretha Franklin and all of those "TOP 40 HIT MAKERS" of the 50's and 60's era. It was a lot of fun for a "rock and roll" sax player. I continued to follow the trends and changes in musical styles through the 70's, 80's and 90's. Every era has many fine sax players with different styles. Listen to all of them. Hopefully it will "pay off" one day. Who knows, one day you may find youself touring with a hit making band.

Music has been great to me. These books represent a THANK YOU to all those memories, friends and bands over the past 40 plus years. And, we are still going strong!

If you have questions about any of the techniques in the books, or about equipment in general, please drop a line. I will respond as soon as my schedule will allow. Have fun and keep listening to all styles!
