SONGS

Psalm 23- The Lord Is My Shepherd This is a different version of the psalm than "My Shepherd". There are a number of times this psalm is used as a response. This particular setting is from cycle A, 4th Sunday of Lent.

Psalm 24- He Is The King Of Glory This is an Advent Responsorial Psalm For the 4th Sunday of Advent in Cycle A. It is a fairly light and quick tempo piece.

Psalm 29- The Lord Will Bless His People With Peace This is for the Baptism of the Lord the second Sunday after Christmas in Cycle A

Psalm 40- Here Am I Lord This is for the second Sunday in Ordinary Time in Cycle A.

Psalm 51- Create A Clean Heart This responsorial is meant to be done for the first 4 Sundays of Lent. Two verses are done each week with the same refrain. The congregation has the option of singing 'create a clean heart in me' during the verse (as well as sing all the verse if so desired) or the cantor can do the entire verse.

Psalm 51- I Will Rise This is the second setting I wrote for this psalm. It is the setting for the 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time Cycle C. It also goes with the Prodigal Son reading.

Psalm 67- May God Bless Us This is for the feast of Mary, Mother of God, on New Year's Day in Cycle A.

Psalm 68- God In Your Goodness This psalm is used the 22nd Sunday in cycle C, it is a psalm expressing justice for all, under the protection of God.

Psalm 72- Justice Shall Flourish This is an Advent Responsorial for the 2nd Sunday of Advent in Cycle A. It is a simple melody for both the response and verse.

Psalm 72- Lord, Ev'ry Nation This is the second setting of this psalm and it is to be used for Epiphany Sunday in Cycle A. It has a different melody for the refrain, but the same melody for the verses as the psalm above. The words of the verses have been changed to reflect the appropriate verses for the Sunday.

Psalm 80- I Will Praise Your Name This psalm is used the 31st Sunday in cycle C, it is a psalm of thanksgiving and praise.

Psalm 90- In Ev'ry Age, O Lord This psalm is used the 23rd Sunday in cycle C, it is a psalm acknowledging God's mercy and protection.

Psalm 97- The Lord Is King This is an Easter response used in cycle C, 7th Sunday of Easter. It can also be used for the feast of Christ the King as a hymn.

Psalm 98- The Lord Has Revealed To The Nations This psalm is used the 28th Sunday in cycle C, it is a psalm of gratitude for the wonders that God has done.

Psalm 98- All The Ends Of The Earth This is the psalm for the Mass during the Day on Christmas in Cycle A. It has a different refrain than the other Psalm 98, but the verses are the same, in keeping with the Lectionary.

Psalm 113- Praise To The Lord This psalm is used the 25th Sunday in cycle C, it is a simple song of praise to God.

Psalm 117- Go Out To All The World From cycle C, 21st Sunday, this responsorial psalm has a section in the verse for the congregation to sing, as well as, of course singing the refrain. It's a good psalm of praise and would work well for any celebration of mission and spreading the good news.

Psalm 121- Our Help Is From The Lord This psalm is used the 29th Sunday in cycle C, it expresses our dependence on God and on God's mercy.

Psalm 122- I Rejoiced This responsorial is repeated for 2 Sundays. It is the response for the feast of Christ the King, the last Sunday in cycle C and then is used the next week for the 1st Sunday in Advent in cycle A.

Psalm 128- May The Lord Bless Us From cycle B, 27th Sunday, this is a great responsorial psalm for weddings.

Psalm 128- Happy Are Those This second setting of the psalm has only a slightly modified refrain for use at the Feast of the Holy Family, the Sunday after Christmas in Cycle A.

Psalm 138- Lord When Your Glory Appears This psalm is used the 32nd Sunday in cycle C. This is a psalm of hope, expressing the joyful anticipation of the fullfillment of God's promise of salavation.

Psalm 140- The Lord Comes To Rule The Earth This psalm is used the 33rd Sunday in cycle C, it, too,is a psalm expressing justice for all, under the protection of God.

Psalm 146- Praise The Lord, O My Soul This psalm is used the 26th Sunday in cycle C, it is joyful hymn in praise of God.

Psalm 146- Lord Come And Save Us As with other psalms this one is used for more than one responsorial setting. In this case it is the 3rd Sunday of Advent in cycle A.
