The SMALL CORNER REFLECTOR & DOWNCONVERTER WILL WORK WELL FOR AO-51.      

The corner relector clips on the downconverter and is small enough to fit on the boom of a Yaseu 5400 or 5600 positioner along with a 2 meter and a 435 MHZ Yagi.  
No dishes are being offered at present, the corner reflectors work well.  If a new phase III satellite warrants a dish, then it will be available.
     AIDC 3731 DOWNCONVERTER WITH DIPOLE  -- $105.00
The AIDC 3731 downconverter has a typical noise figure of about 1.1 dB.  It has a 2 stage low noise preamp with 4 pole combline filters at the antenna input and at the preamp output and an attached dipole with reflector.  Out of band rejection is very high.  I sell an N ADAPTER FOR $5 that can later replace the dipole if desired - you can use it with the antenna of your choice. You can make the downconverter shorter by sawing off the tail --  see lower left picture with the N adapter installed.

The IF output is an F connector to utilize the convienence of TV type cable and connectors.  I sell an  F TO BNC ADAPTER FOR $4.   12.8 VDC Power is fed up the coax line from the WALL WART POWER SUPPLY FOR $15, or POWER INSERTER ONLY FOR $10.  Some receivers supply preamp power that can power it. The downconverter has a lot of excess gain at the 2 meter IF and the cable loss and the  50/75 ohm mismatch is of no consequence.  I can supply a 6 dB ATTENUATOR FOR $3, this will bring the no signal noise level to a reasonable level and prevent burnout if you should accidentally key up into the downconverter.

The Corner Reflector just clips over the front of the  downconverter and has 12 dBi gain.

IMAGE REJECTION
Below is an AIDC 3731 on my network analyzer showing its passband from 2 to 3 GHZ..  The first marker at 2120 MHZ shows the point where ultimate rejection begins.  This shows an image rejection at 2112 MHZ of over 65 dB -- . whch is the image frequency of 2 meters.   The 2nd marker is at the LO frequency of 2256 MHZ -- the dip around the LO frequency is where there is a lack of IF response below about 30 MHZ  The 3rd marker shows the passband of the downconverter beginning at  2380 MHZ.  The 4th marker is the high side of the passband at 2580 MHZ.

The picture is my 330' microwave tower that came from AT&T.  They got out of the microwave business and went to fiber many years ago.  American Tower bought all of their surplus towers and have been selling some of the towers at non commercial locations at "give away" prices.  It is being set up as my remote internet controlled site and contest station.  MAPQUEST (AERIAL VIEW) Camilla, Texas -- 200 Meters North East.
