September 1985, marks Tom Brandi's wrestling debut,
against Legend
Gypsy Rodriguez. Brandi was fresh
off of a very strict training regiment assigned by his coach and trainer "The
Hawaiian Hurricane" King Kahlua.
In January 1986, Tom Brandi wrestled for The AWA, in a big
feud with Stan Hansen, where he soon formed an
alliance with Rick Martel.
“Chippendale” Tom Brandi's Memphis Region debut was at
a CWA Television Taping. He defeated Ready of the Rough
& Ready tag team in less than a minute. Immediately after, he
defeated Brickhouse Brown, in less than 20 seconds!
Tom Brandi is a former ECW Tag Team Champion with Tommy
Dreamer back in the early days of Extreme Championship Wrestling. They
defeated Tony Stetson and
Johnny Hot Body for the
belts.
December 1992 Tom Brandi teamed with "Z-Man"
Tom
Zenk, in WCW under the name "Johnny
Gunn."
During The USWF's Fall 1995 tour, Brandi began a big feud
(under the name Johnny Gunn) teaming with Tag team Partner Steve
Corino against Kenny Casanova's tag team combination
"Damage
Inc." (a team comprised of Danger
and Hazard -aka Johnny Kain).
In the Spring of 1996, Tom Brandi wrestled as
"Salvatore
Sincere" in the WWF, an Italian ladies man who claimed to "love
each and everyone." Later, he dropped the gimmick and had a big feud with “Wildman”
Marc Mero and Sable.
Took on The Rock at the
December 1996 "In Your House" WWF Pay Per View.
Competed in the 1998 WWF Royal Rumble.
April 11, 1998, Tom Brandi began a singles feud with Danger
and in New Breed Wrestling.
Summer of 2000, Tom Brandi finally makes the biggest and
best career move of his life. He aligned, after years of hating him, with rival
manager Kenny Casanova. As Salvatore Sincere in both the UWA and the WWA, the 2
are collectively known as "Pretty in Pink"
and are taking the North East wrestling scene by storm.
