Starting
his illustrious career in 1991, The Metal Maniac is a masterful ring
technician who very seldom bumps. Known world wide for his
5-year feud with Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, The Metal Maniac has
traveled seemingly everywhere, making his impressions felt by many
independent federations and ring rats.
Metal Maniac is not only a grappler who is comparable to none, but also
a connoisseur of fine arts. A profile on this fellow just wouldn't be
complete without mentioning his two favorite pastimes of Painting and
Cooking. His innovative painting abilities include painting kids faces
at shows for 5 bucks and fine impressionistic oil-works around his
portly bellybutton. His love of cooking, however, is not his love
for the actual art of food preparation. It is rather the sampling
of free delectables, namely promoter-bought japanese pork-fried rice and
bar-b-q boneless spare ribs. "We're working hard for ya here, brutha!"
he says to most every promoeter, to scam a free meal. But can you blame
him? After all, he is The Metal Maniac.
Kenny Casanova has had the pleasure of managing this fine physical specimen
in NBW, ESW, USWL, USA Wrestling and ECWF. Also, before the first ever
NBW Event: "Amsterslam", way back in April 1997, Kenny
Casanova and Hotbod Todd Taylor were able to get The Metal Maniac and
his Arch enemy Snuka together for the first time ever. Ironically, the
combination did not take place in the NBW Ring. Casanova and Hotbod
created the unlikely tag-team for a one time shindig at Sun's
All-You-Can-Eat Chinese Buffet of Latham, NY. In the end, when Sun set
and the rice leveled, The two islanders broke
bread and all of the restaurant's eating records. |
