World Championships of
Sports Acrobatics 1996

The World Championships of Sports Acrobatics 1996 were held from October 3 to 6 in Riesa / Germany.
These images are screenshots from my videotapes (taken from a PAL Super-VHS tape)

Here are the world champions in the category "Mixed pair" : Oksana Jazenko and Velerie Kniasew.
Oksana was the most flexible girl (I don´t dare to say "woman" cause even the announcer doubted if she really was 16 years old). The first 7 images are taken at the closing ceremony where Oksana showed an amazing flexibility, the next 4 are from their championship routine.
