Descriptive

500 compositions (32 commissions); 145 North American and European premieres. Composition styles range from cabaret and vaudeville through classical ensembles to experimental/avant-garde, extended voice, multimedia, sound environment, performance art, and tape works.
Design and construction of original instruments for compositions: Bellzebub, Chimes I & II, Glass Chimes I & II, Brass Chimes, Hharp, Uncello, Gong, Exlophon, Ovarian Xylophone, Candle Harp, Buzzophone, Organism, Triangulum, Monofilament, Wind Harp, Defrocked Autoharp, Forkklang, Diskklang, and other acoustic instruments of unique design and tuning.
Designs of electronic musical instruments and functional electronic jewelry for music and multimedia events, including performance artist David Van Tieghem. Other electronic/musical work encompasses computer software and hardware, and articles on electronic music design.
Work with computer technology includes hardware and software design, writing, teaching, speaking and special applications in the arts. 400 articles, seven books in print since 1979.
Photographs exhibited in juried shows; designs of posters and graphics for museum events; two short films (Slub at Ottres and Comrade Sylvia’s Dump) and film documentations. Major multimedia events: Trans/Media Minifest, Caution: Merging Environments, Echo, In Bocca al Lupo, Traveler’s Rest, and Wolf5.
