Pizza Bake
Ingredients:
2 packages buttermilk biscuits (7 1/2 oz)
1 small onion-chopped
1 green pepper-chopped
1 jar prepared spaghetti sauce (14 oz.)
1 lb. bulk Italian sausage
Chop any other "pizza" ingredients you may like, mushrooms, pepperoni, etc.
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese.

Preheat the oven to 375°F. and grease a 9 X 13 inch pan. In a skillet
brown the sausage over medium low heat; while the meat is browning dice
up the green pepper, onion or your choice of ingredients.

Add the sauce and your pizza ingredients (onions, peppers, etc) to the
skillet, cook for about 5 minutes. Turn off heat, set aside.

On a cutting board lay out your raw biscuit dough and cut each piece
in 1/2. Take 1/2 of your batch of cutup biscuits and layer in the bottom
of your baking dish, (bottom won't be covered, rolls will expand while
cooking). Layer over the biscuits 1/2 of the sauce mixture, then add
1 cup of the cheese. Place another layer of biscuits over this, layer
with the sauce and cheese.

Bake at 375°F. for about 25 minutes.

Shepherd's Pie
Ingredients:
*1 pound cubed beef/cooked
1 can mixed vegetables
1 bay leaf
1/4 cup light cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup chopped parsley
2 cups mashed potatoes
1 egg
2 teaspoons melted butter or margarine
Paprika.

Heat over to 400°F. In a 2 quart casserole dish add the
cooked meat, drain the vegetables and mix into the meat. Crumble
the bay leaf over the mixture.

In a small bowl mix the cream, salt, pepper and parsley and mix into the
mashed potatoes. Beat the egg and fold into the potato mixture, spread
over the meat and vegetables.

Brush the top with the melted butter, sprinkle lightly with paprika.
Bake 20 minutes or until top is browned.

*Opitional: Replace the beef with a 1 pound of hamburger.

Ingredients:
1 jar prepared spaghetti sauce (any brand)
1 small package spare ribs, cut up
1 package or 2 links, Italian sausage, (sweet is best, but spicy
and hot can be used, to your liking)
1 clove fresh garlic
Italian seasoning, to taste
1 can each, whole tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce
Fresh mushrooms, sliced

Directions:
In frying pan, brown (lightly), cut up pieces of the sausage, place
into crockpot or large cooking pot.
Cut spareribs and brown in frying pan, put in the pot. Over low/medium
heat add the spaghetti sauce, simmer, stirring occasionally every hour
for 2 hours.
Add clove of garlic, teaspoon of Italian seasoning, stir. During
stirring and simmering process you should pull meat off ribs, when
really tender the meat will fall off (about 3 hours).
Add 1 can whole tomatoes, 1 can tomato sauce, stir in and simmer.
Now, you are continually simmering the sauce and pulling the meat
off the rib bones, you can add to this either 2 pats of butter or
2 tablespoons of Olive Oil.
Keep stirring and simmering, remember this recipe is "all day."
When rib meat begins to tenderize add in your cleaned and chopped
mushrooms (fresh work best and TASTE best). At this time you can
determine if your sauce is too thin. If it's runny, add 1 can of
tomato paste, if thick, don't bother!
Keep cooking, the longer the better! Add more seasonings to taste
and keep the sauce simmering, stirring occasionally.
Let the sauce simmer in the pot for most of the day. When you are
ready to eat put over any type of pasta and serve!

Boneless Pork Roast (size depends on family)
1/2 stick butter or margarine
3/4 cups water
1/2 tablespoon season salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper lightly to taste.
Season all sides with the above seasonings.
In a skillet melt the butter over medium low heat being careful not to brown the butter.
Place roast in skillet, brown the roast, all sides, then place in crock pot. Add the
drippings from the skillet and the water. Cook on low for about 6 hours or longer.

Meat should be tender enough to make sandwiches or to serve with side dishes.
