SUIDA Wild Boars

Body length 110-160cm, tail length 60-80cm. There are a few wild boar in the district which snow accumulates on deeply in winter. There is vertical stripes pattern in the body, and a child called "Uri-bo" means gourd.

Body length 170-190cm. It is seen in Hokkaido for all the year over, and it breeds in Hokkaido. A baby is a blackish color.

PHOCIDAE Larga Seal (Spotted Seal)

Body length 160-170cm. This seal lives in Hokkaido, too. Because it breeds on the drift ice, a baby covered white fur.

Body length 1.2-1.3m. Ringed Seal is the smallest in the Japanese seal.

PHOCIDAE Ribbon Seal

Body length 1.6m. This Seal is characterized by its ribbon patterns of the cream. A baby is pure white.

PHOCIDAE Bearded seal

Body length 2.3m. It is the biggest seal in the Japanese nearby seas. It is unusually seen in Hokkaido the north island of Japan. An original inhabiting stage is around the Arctic Circle.

Body length 2.5m. The mammals of the sea to live in the Pacific Ocean. It lives in the sea of Okinawa in Japan. Dugong is said as the mermaid's model.
