Kitty is the newest member of our family. As you can see, he is a "tuxedo" cat. He adopted us (we feed him) after the family who lived across the street moved to an apartment that wouldn't permit pets. They originally named him Flojo ("lazy" in Spanish and pronounced "FLOW-hoe"). Kitty is approximately ten or so years old and is well trained. He is an outdoor cat at night and during the day when the weather is nice. He eats indoors and naps indoors during the day. His favorite place to nap is Viola's lap. He doesn't scratch the furniture (he scratches a wood tree support in the yard). He doesn't require a litterbox in the house. He's really a good cat and probably the smartest of the six cats we've had during the past 35 years.

UPDATE: Kitty passed away suddenly at 7:00 P.M. on 21 December 2000. We really miss him!!
