The Grandfather clock has Majesty written ALL over it. This is the essence of time, it commands recognition in any room or home. These timepieces have given homes across the ages a sense of welcome and serenity to any who encounter their beauty. Even before they announce their presence they can capture your heart, then when they present their "voice" they capture your soul.

The Anniversary Clock is a special clock to those married couples who celebrate that one day in the old tradition of their Grandparents and even Great Grandparents ( which gave the clock its ' 2nd name ' -- Anniversary Clock ) to wind it on the anniversary of their wedding day. The clock only needs wound once a year and is called a 400 Day clock for that reason.

There are many types of Shelf and Mantle Clocks that enhance anyone's home. These clocks have a way of giving a room a sense of comfort and well-being that is unmatched in today's loud, push comes to shove society. When entering a room with the steady beat of an old clock ticking away brings a little serenity to the fast pace outside your front door.

Now this is a Timepiece for every Navy man out there. My father was in World War ll, he had one of these hanging on the wall of his office at    ' DeMers Servicenter ' and then in his home livingroom until he passed away, the same clock is now back in the Office that my brother, John ,President ( 3rd Generation), occupies in honor of our Father. This clock would let a sailor know when his Dogwatch was over, or at least how much longer his watch was left till he could relax and put the trust into his shipmates.

Now here is the infamous Cuckoo Clock that your Grandmother tells your kids to        " Look at but not to touch those chains there! " Many servicemen came back from their "tours" with a cuckoo clock for their parents. Not only did it let mom and dad know that they were thought of while their sons and daughters were protecting our great Country, but that they had a few moments to themselves to think of mom and dad, to buy them something that would announce the hour and half -hour in its own unique way. A way that only the Black Forests of Germany could introduce to the families of the world, ( let alone give the household pet cat something to play with in those " things" -chains- dangling from the sky.
