Who's "Keven" ...
Might want to start by explaining all the feminine pronouns and let our guests know that Keven is female and it is her real
name. Yes, I'm an improper noun. I come from a good ole Southern family with an even better sense of humor; have one brother named Patrick, not "Sue".
What else about Keven? Well, I'm from South Louisiana, Lafayette to be specific.
From Louisiana, I moved to (how can we say this delicately) ... New Jersey (there is no delicate way to put it).
After six years of pulling threads out of carpet bags, I moved to the Fort
Worth,
TX area and married the greatest man in the world. That's not an exaggeration:
he really is the greatest man in the world - gorgeous to boot! You
should see what he gave me to support my mid-life crysis this past birthday!
WOW - yes, this car really has some Z'ing - even before I start modifying. I told you he was the best husband in
the world!

What does Keven do? Well, I spend a bunch of time "working" from and
for home - more on the real work stuff below. Taking care of my husband and
two teenage stepsons: Garrett and Kevin occupies a good amount of time well
spent. In a nutshell: I type about
42,419 characters a day (including spaces - very few hard returns), wash 53.4
loads of laundry and cook 3.2 meals per week (hush, my mother is reading
this). I no longer fear confronting dust bunnies and encourage my dog to bark at strangers. In my spare time - oh wait - this isn't
fiction.
In an age/sex check - I fail. The standard when I was in school was hieroglyphics on papyrus. Freud had not been born yet so we all didn't have Oepidus or Electra complexes. Twain was associated with Huck Finn instead of Windows' drivers and Pong was a close as it got to computer games at home. "When in Rome ..." wasn't a cellular service consideration. Until I was 17, my definition of a "foreign car" was a special order Pontiac that had to be shipped from Houston.
Did I mention I exaggerate my age by a few eons?

"Things to do" ...
This is my to-do, to-doing and to-done list.
Right now, I'm learning flash design. Here's some of my web doodling:
Got another half dozen or so "in the works" and as soon as they approach more final stages, I'll share those too.
I've also doodled around AOL (oops, that online service that bought Compuserve) - where I've produced four online areas (note: links to "keywords" only work if you are on the AOL client):
- The Book Report, keyword: TBR, an area designed for adult book/reading lovers (also has a presence on the WWW).
- The Book Bag, keyword: TBB, is the same basic idea designed for the teen audience (also have a presence on the WWW).
- Kids Reads, keyword: KidsReads, is where parents can find reviews and the likes on books for their kids (also present on the WWW).
- The most recent addition to their family is the Bookworm, keyword: Bookworm. This area is designed for kids - a book based area with games and fun for the younger audience.

Another of previous my "tasks" on that less than internet related online service: I coordinated MTVOnline's (keyword: MTV on AOL) team. That's the greatest group of kids in the entire world. On my 40th birthday,
I "retired" from the Viacom property as the oldest on staff. lol! Actually, I got an incredible job offer that stole me away
from my beloved MTV. Honestly, I don't miss NYchitty one bit.
Let's see ... what
else. I coordinated the Lycos Community Team in Lycos Communities. 'Twas a fun
job! Here's me: at work. Really ... one of the great things we
got to do was take road trips around the country and meet people!

"Send e-mail" ...
The easiest of all! This is where I thank my guest for stopping by. I'd love to hear from you ... get kind of tired of just getting bills in the mailbox. Drop me a line anytime.
