Professional Experience:
I have 13 years experience as a prosecutor, including heading the misdemeanor division and several felony divisions. I was the chief attorney for the domestic violence division and have extensive experience in DUI prosecutions. In 1999, I was awarded the Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association's Distinguished Faculty Award, based on my assistance in training prosecutors throughout the state. I also teach at the Police Academy at Polk Community College.
I left the State Attorney's Office in 2000, and have since represented clients in family law and criminal law matters. I also have experience in general legal matters including real estate, wills, and corporate law.
