The following active breeders support Kuvasz Fanciers of America and are known to use Hungarian bloodlines and produce Hungarian type puppies. KFA has no ability to police the breeding practices or business practices of any breeder. Make sure the breeder knows you are only interested in a "Hungarian type" puppy. Maximize your chances of buying a healthy puppy from a breeder you feel comfortable doing business with by taking the time to do the proper research. It is the responsibility of the shopper to contact all breeders before reserving a puppy, and ask for proof of parent dogs' OFA, vWD, thyroid and CERF clearances, as well as sales contract guarantees, return policies, and co-ownership demands. You may also search the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals database for clearances and the The SilvanHold Kuvasz Database for clearances and pedigrees.
