Vol 1; #1 September 1998 From revolution to evolution, Boston Chinese Radio has made a significant impact in Boston's Chinese community during the past six years!

In 1992, Boston Chinese Radio started with a passion to make "revolutionary" changes in the Chinese community. Today, six years later, we have all witnessed the changes that have evolved from the radio show. BCR has helped facilitate the growth of Chinese Bostonians - from passive survival as alienated immigrants, to gradual assimilation into mainstream society as confident citizens.

We have also stimulated much interest in radio broadcasting. We would like to continue in this direction. For the past few years, we have consistently provided training to students. We have spent a lot of time and resources in cultivating perfect student broadcasts. We hope that our sincere efforts, together with support from all of you, will help generate a stylish living standard which will bring more fulfillment and enrichment to our lives.

Thanks to the lively participation of our listeners, Boston Chinese Radio is now the leader in generating community dialogue. We have successfully established a unique interaction with our listeners - an interaction that no other group has created.

Our main goal next year is to increase our advertising sponsorship level, in order to satisfy the needs of our commercial radio functions. We are aware that there will be no smooth sailing;
