Masahiro Chatani(1934- ), a Japanese architect created a new paper artform named Origamic Architecture in 1981. His incredible master pieces can be seen at Masahiro Chatani's web site (Written in Japanese).

M. C. Escher (1898-1972) drew many works of the Regular Division of the Plane. Those works can be seen at M. C. Escher's Official web site.
