Arcinablo 2000

A new and very lightweight armor made of the silk of the Arnova spider. It is spun around a cast of the desired armor and sits untill it hardens, which take about a day. The result is a new and highly durable piece of armor. The only drawback to this is that it is highly flammable. A spark near it and it can go up in flames, as well as the person wearing it.

Rules

Treat armor as Hardened Armor. If the armor gets close to fire or anything that has a spark, it will burst into flames. The wearer must resist 8M damage from the fire every combat turn they have the armor on. It requires a Strength (6) test to break out of the armor while on fire.

Lead-Crystalline Anti-Laser Armor

Lead-Crystalline (LC) Armor is a specialized armor that has been

specifically designed to resist the effects of laser fire. LC armor is made

of layers of lead-saturated crystal plates held together by silicon based

fibers. When struck by a high power laser beam the silicon fibers vaporize

and produce a small cloud of dense, extremely heat resistant silica

particles. This cloud absorbs and scatters the laser beam. The laser never

gets a chance to penetrate the armor because wherever it strikes it is

instantly blocked by the cloud. Any laser light that penetrates the silicon

is defused by the lead crystal plates so that by the time the light strikes

the last layer of silicon fiber the heat can be easily absorbed. The lead

crystals can become extremely hot if repeatedly exposed to laser fire.

LC armor is usually sold in a vest form, but it can also be grafted onto

standard armor suits for a small extra fee. Unfortunately LC armor provides

very little protection for guns or other conventional weapons: the lead

crystals in LC armor are easy to shatter and the silicon fibers can be

easily cut. If LC armor is hit by a conventional weapon such as a gun or

melee weapon it can be damaged of destroyed (GM's discretion).

Plastoid Armor

This new kind of hardened security armor was developed by Knight Errant Security by processing plastic plates the same way as ballistic glass is processed. It provides all of the benefits of security armor without the weight. Plastoid security armor can accept all the accessories that normal security armor can.
