This is a communication accessory which changes frequency hundreds of times per second. This renders the signal completely immune to decryption due to the lack of time to decrypt it as well as making it impossible to trace it due to the constantly changing frequency. To communicate with a frequency hopping Comm system, one must posses a frequency hopper that is synchronized to within 3 seconds of the Comm system to which they wish to communicate. A frequency hopping system may still receive transmissions from non-hopping systems but the non-hopping system cannot receive from the hopping system. A hopping system will inform the operator if the transmissions it is receiving are not from a hopping system.
