This is a State of the Art Combat Drone! It can go around in any Terrain, and find any target and destroy it. It has 4 modes of Travel: Walking/Running, Wheel Based, Flight, and Floating. It has the ability to have Vertical Take-offs. Also, it can be running or walking, then all of a sudden jump into Drive mode or Flight or even boat mode. It Takes a Complex Action for it to Change Modes.

It has a New State of the Art Power Cell; it isn't Nuclear or anything like that. You can say it is Unique, it Uses Magic as its Source of Energy. You'd think it would be a Link or something, well think again. It is in some way a Magical Being, and yet it isn't. It is hard to explain all I can tell you is that it has a mind of its own.

It doesn't require a Handling Test at all, it controls itself. (It would be like walking for you, same function for it.) All Rigging Tests are not needed, because the Rigger isn't controlling it. Although the Rigger can ride in it, like a standard Drone. There are a few different things that happen, the rigger gets to influence what the Drone does. If the decision is considered life threatening to the drone, it will modify it to do something better. (You let the Character play the Drone as if it was him in it, if it risks life upon the drone; Role a D6 if it is a 1 or 6 the Drone takes control and it does as GM Says.) Like the saying goes," 2 Heads are better then 1!"

It is Telepathically Controlled by everyone that has bonded with it, if they haven't bonded it is a Standard Drone. The Abilities will require Tests to do things, and changing modes then takes a Complex Action. The reason for this, is it is Instinctive for it to change forms to achieve its goal. For you it is manually made to change modes through thought, which isn't Instinctive to you. All tests for Mode Change is a Rigging or Drone Skill of 6; All Handling skills are treated as 4/6*.

The Drone must Bond with the Owner. If it chooses not to Bond with the Owner, then well he is SOL. To see if it bonds with the Owner, upon purchase the GM Roles a D6. If that number is 1 or 6 it doesn't bond with him, and
that is that. If he has Good Karma Pool of 5 or better, the GM can Re-Role the D6. This time if it is a 1,2 or 6 it doesn't Bond with him and there are no more Tests.

The Drone is made by a Group of Elves that were kicked out of Atzland for Treason. They were supposedly killed, but we all know how that can get fragged up. They were a Group of Immortal Scientists; they have been working on Combining Machines and Spirits for a Very Long Tine. Only recently have they found out where their mistakes were, and in the past 3 Years they perfected it. These are the first models of their kind. Depending on the Spirit crossed into it, you may find out that it has Magical Talents. (All Mages that own them must make an astral quest upon completion of Bonding) The Quest is an Automatic thing, requires one role of the dice. Once that task is completed, you know all of its Magical Abilities, and how to use them. No further Roles are needed to get to the citadel, just a simple test.
