Anti-personal Room Bomb
This is a security/military weapon no PC can get. Ares invented this device to stop an intruder without killing them. The room bomb raises out of the floor about 1½ ft. and explodes. It sends millions of metal projectiles in a full circle around the bomb. The GM rolls 3D6 to see how many of the shards hit the players legs. There are no hardened armor benefits with the bomb. Each metal projectile does 6L and then stage the damage as required for each piece of metal thereafter to hit the target (exactly as you would a burst from a gun). If a character is within one meter of the bomb, they must resist 15S from the blast.

The damage sustained will range from 9M to 24D. Note that all damage s to the characters legs and will not kill them, just tear apart their legs.

Vulcan Perimeter Defense System
The Vulcan Perimeter Defense System consists of a military grade level 3 sensor system with audio sensing capability to detect any near by creatures and uses high density electric shocks to deter intruders. The vulcan in usually mounted on the outside of an existing barrier or is set under the ground or foliage. The Vulcan is available in both lethal and non-lethal forms and is completely compatible with any existing security system. The Vulcan has a damage code of 10S and has a range of one meter. The non-lethal version does stun instead of physical damage.

Ares Advanced Guard Tower
The corporation of Ares was in need of some more advanced way to protect their R&D labs from attack. They came up with the Advanced Guard Tower. The tower is a heavily armored platform on a telescopic pole. It stands 5 meters tall when the pole is all the way up. It is usually armed with autocannons or heavy machine guns.

The Advanced Guard Tower can hold up to 3 hardpoints or 6 firmpoints.
